So I met your father at 19 years old, my family sold coffee and had a coffee shop but I also sold painting as a very young age to make money. A lot of people are poor over there, Before I met your father I thought that America was rich and pretty, I watched a lot of movies and my friends had pictures to show me. I thought it was beautiful. At first when I met your father, my friend told me about this guy that came back from America. I always wanted to go to America, I couldn’t go because of money and it’s so hard to get to America in the first place if you’re an immigrant, sometimes you get married and you get to go, but if you don’t get married then you can’t go 20 years ago. When I got married, I just knew that I was going to go to America. I miss my family a lot, my brothers and sisters. I can’t believe that she’s in America, she thinks that it’s a dream. No, I wasn’t scared of America, I didn’t that lazy was an option, I had to work, I had to do everything I could to make money, so my first initial thought that I was going to be working at when I get to America is having to work in a factory. It doesn’t require a lot of experience and everybody can get a job there it’s an easy skill to make. I’ve always wanted to have a small business. I want more, I want a bigger business. Speaking english was very hard for me to learn, I learned from the TV, I learned through customers and people that I interact with. Sometimes I want to go back and live there, I miss my family. The only time I want to live in Vietnam is whenever we visit Vietnam and I want to stay there. Everything is good here, I have a job, good money, I like shopping, it’s hard to make money in Vietnam.
